It is a big lie that the war on terror is over, but there’s still time to stop it before things go too far. Not everyone believes this, and not only because someone will die by our words.

A lot of people say that America has changed since 9/11 and they are right. I guess we did get in some bad memories about Americans, or perhaps worse. Regardless of what you believe the facts are the US, UK, France, and Russia have been at war for years, and their hatred for each other has never ended. And no one knows why. They blame religion, but none of those religions actually believe in the enemy, so why do Americans think terrorists can be stopped? Because nobody wants to die. A person can be killed either from disease, starvation, war or from a plane crash. In all cases, death is inevitable. But where does our government stand on gun control? If you believe that there are no more than 10 million guns in the world? That is wrong, and it is entirely possible to save the lives of millions of people. How many people would have died if there had been zero guns? And not only would it save lives, it would also be better for the economy as well. This country depends on both of these countries to survive. As for the economy, it would create jobs, which would help the country move forward. This country was built on trade, and it is important for us to work together. The second way to move forward is helping other countries.

There really are two ways to help others, and they both have pros and cons. There is good news about this, however; One way is through diplomacy, which is a process that needs to be done more often than ever before, but sometimes doesn’t get done. Often, countries like China and Russia don’t want to be part of any treaties, so they take actions themselves. A nation, such as Britain, could argue that the USA is a member of NATO and thus is obligated to follow its rules and agreements. However, if nations in general don’t want to make deals with the United States, then there needs to be an agreement made, especially when dealing with Russia. Diplomatic steps have worked well before, but they need to change, fast.

The other option would be economic aid. All of us know that international aid does not help a lot if it is not given the money. Yet, this is how we need to help the rest of the world and our own countries. With a bit of luck there are billions of dollars of foreign aid that need to be used to ensure that there are adequate resources and other necessities in the poorest, least-developed countries. These resources need to be available to assist in developing these poorer countries. When these places become wealthy enough to give money back, then the American government makes up that difference. By doing this, America proves itself as the shining example of what will happen with less government control in the future. At the same time, it shows the other countries that our government works hard to bring them prosperity. So, while the money is distributed, this means that America gets another source of income. The most positive thing for America is that the amount of money available for development, such as education and health care, is almost always greater than the amount provided under programs focused on specific areas. While it can sometimes seem like America doesn’t have a hand in these crises, there really are many things to do better. Some examples are more attention to medical treatment, more focus on drugs to treat diseases, and more funding for military projects. The bottom line would be that the United States can act to improve the quality of life in every country in the world. America should be able to solve problems with a strong military and a strong economy. We should also consider that many countries have similar problems that require attention, but have little or no power, and thus the United States should try and help them find a way to work out a solution.
